Anyone know anything about XMB aka xross?? Its the OS on the PSP and PSX and some of their TVs

Did some google with nothing really to show.

XMB is only the GUI.

It is speculated that the OS is NetBSD-based.
The PSP certainly contains some NetBSD code: http://www.scei.co.jp/psp-license/pspnet.txt

I doubt that it's NetBSD based... the BSD license is most likely for the TCP/IP stack. Many people used the BSD driver code as a basepoint for writing their own. The Windows TCP/IP stack is based on it... and a lot of the networking utils are ports of BSD code.
