I plan on buying a PS3.
I want to use it as a MediaCenter, but i'm not sure if the current Ps3->Linux situation is good enough for this.
- Is AC3/DTS output supported? I read that only stereo output works atm :/
- Is playing 1080p x264 possible atm?
- Is there an estimated releasedate for IBM's h264-Decoder?
- Is PS3RSX needed?

-> Which Firmware Version is installed?
-> Do I have to do updates for new Games, PSN-Store or Online-Play?
