Question regarding the legitimacy of a person claims.

Post by Koiraku »

Theres a guy ( TheCyndicateCom ) who has for the past few days on both his youtube page and website been claiming that he is able to directly modify the memory of a retail PS3 unit, in addition to making vauge claims that he has compiled code to run on the PS3 also.

Honestly, i am of the opinion that he is without any doubt lying but i figure since you guys are much more qualified to give an opinion on his claims, i'd appreciate it if one of you could view the following links and give their opinion on the matter

Page here he refutes being asked not to call his avatar tricks 'memory hacking' :
http://www.thecyndicate.com/Main/module ... topic&t=75
His youtube page :
http://www.youtube.com/user/TheCyndicateCom

He also claims to have written software for the PS2, but no matter how much i search i can't seem to find any evidence of this.

Your opinions are appreciated as it will help greatly with several sites deciding to completely ignore news submitted by him, and/or possibly banning him from posting.

Thanks.

All I see is a couple of people pissing at each other and a whole lot of 'Yes I can!' and 'No you can't!'. Over Socom hacking or something I think.

Keep the drama elsewhere, please.

I'm actually going to preemptivly lock this because I know from experience how this kind of thing attracts drama.
