Loading homebrew on ps3

Post by Dariusc123456 »

Ok, now I know this is stupid for me to ask, but how can I load homebrew on a ps3? Do I need linux, or does it load on the ps3 without it?

It depends on the homebrew. Is it a PPC linux program? If so, just run it in linux on the PS3 like you would any other linux app.

Is it stand alone PS3 OTHEROS (probably based on the OTHEROS demo code)? If so, there's two ways to run it: gzip it and install it as the OTHEROS.bld; then telling the PS3 to switch to otheros will run it. The second way is to run the elf file for the stand alone app from kboot.

I don't mind when the thread is on page three or so, but when it's on the FIRST page, that's when I start wondering. :)

Of course, you could claim to be using a small monitor which bumped the thread to page 2. :D

That's XP running on a high res with non-scalar fonts and too much beer in my early years which made my eyes swallow and see everything foggy, I think... 8)
