QuadCurve2D -- PS3 BD-J support ?

Post by emcp »

ok
im making an attempt to make a game for the ps3
so im going through the basics, and all is working well

until i come to draw a QuadCurve, its simply will not draw and im beginning to think that the ps3 does not support this

Does anyone know for a fact that it does, and preferably if someone has a working example could they upload it for me please

all the other graphics functions that i was able to get working are the ones i dont need lol, i need this one, its always the way

so if anyone could help me, itll be great
also id post my current source but it been heavily modified to try and get it working, so much so ive lost track and it would be useless due to the amount of different methods ive tried

thanks
also sorry if this isnt the appropriate forum

Sorry, I don't have the answer to your question, but I just have to ask: What software
are you using to author discs with BD-J content? And will the PS3 run BD-J content
from a BD-9 (DVD) disc?

I've been looking for a way to try out BD-J on the PS3, but struck zero so far...

you can run BD-J from the pen drive instead. there is no need for discs.

Here is a simple guide and sdk.

GUIDE:
HDCookBookhttps://hdcookbook.dev.java.net/

SDK:
Minimal BD-J (Java) Devkit/SDK for PS3 (5.89 MB)http://www.ps3hax.net/downloads.php?do= ... 1&act=down
Install guidehttp://forums.qj.net/showthread.php?t=142706

FEW FUN EXAMPLES:
Snakehttp://www.ps3hax.net/downloads.php?do= ... 6&act=down
SameGamehttp://www.ps3hax.net/downloads.php?do= ... 5&act=down

with the examples you just extract to the root of you pen drive or ms.

This is only a small sdk maybe ps2dev team can improve the sdk.

Sweet. Thanks 2^20, tmaster.

Maybe we should have a separate forum about BD-J development, just as there is
one about Linux development?
