How to modify date'n'time area in XMB?

Greetings, everyone,
could someone tell me some clue or basic example how to modify "date and time" area in XMB menu next to battery icon by plugin, please?

The current programs just modify the date/time formatting strings.

Thanks for reply, Davee. How exactly does that kind of program work? Where can I find original date/time formatting strings and where and how should I save modified ones? Tell me little more about it, please..

IIRC changing the day/date string while the VSH is running does not update it on screen. The VSH only redraws the time every second.

Well, i think you must find where this (string?) is located (maybe in vshmain.prx?) and patch this in your plugin. Reverse engineering skills needed. Or, you can reverse the daywiever plugin and look how it's done.
