GPS Time Lapse Photography Demo

Post by Art »

Hi Guys,

Here's a nice time lapse photography session done with AVEC GPS connected
to a GPS via serial port, and the PSP-300 Go Cam via USB at the same time.
Though I might share it as a little demo video:

The video is produced by saving one photo frame for every map screen image capture.
Pictures are saved by first converting the still frame to RGB with sceJpegDecodeMJpeg,
(which I learned works with still shots as well as video), then saving them one after
the other. Then I use a simple AVISynth script in Windows to crop the images and stack
the odd images vertically, and Virtual Dub to produce a WMV video for upload.

Cheers, Art.
If not actually, then potentially.
