To be more specific, I submitted for QuakePSP to be a project, I'm still waiting for approval at this point, it could take up to 2 business days.

Hey there PacManFan. Great job on the port thus far. I noticed on your website that you asked for a new icon and background image. Hope these work for you:

If you need any modifications to the images, let me know. I'm more than happy to do this small thing for you... after all, you're doing such a huge thing for the rest of us.

Edit: Oh, yeah. In case anyone is curious about the scribbling on the bottom of the icon image, it's Standard Galactic Alphabet from the Commander Keen series of games. I'll leave it up to the curious to find out what it says.

Nice pics,
I'll see if I can use the icon.

EDIT:
That text using the standard galactic alphabet = PacManFan, cool!

Thanks.

Update:

I've got some horrible squelches coming out of the speakers now. Audio fr PSPQuake should be coming along shortly.

I haven't played commander keen in forever. <dream> That would be an interesting project to port it over to the PSP.... </dream>

Good job on quake though.

If you are willing to send me the source code then I'll post it on my personal website. I think a lot of us are very interested in looking at it.

Anyone thinking of trying GLQuake or Quake 2? My GL is next to non-existant... but I am looking at it... rather intimidating :)

New version 0.4

Post by PacManFan »

Hey everyone, I just upload version .4 of PSPQuake to
http://home.comcast.net/~shernandez1337/

It's alomst exactly the same, excepth with far less crashing. I fixed that FPU exception issue, so it doesn't crash on divide by 0 issues anymore. I also bumped up the cpu speed from 222 to 333 so it's running much smoother. I played up through level 5 with no crashes, anyone care to play through the entire game to test?
