Font and Registry Mod discussion

Post by TeamOverload »

Well Im sure most of you know about the FontMod and how to replace the fonts, if not you can check here: http://teamoverload.blogspot.com. Anyways, myself, Skylark, and FreePlay have looked for some way to exploit this, to run unsigned code, similar to what XBOX softmodding does. We have looked but can't seem to find anything that is exploitable, but there is always the odd chance we missed something. We would like to ask for more devs help to try and help us find someway to exploit this, to run unsigned code. Please keep this as a serious discussion, and not just as a help thread for people to learn how to do the FontMod. Thanks.

Well this has already been partially exploited to allow the Fonts to be loaded off the flash1, or ms0, and using custom fonts...so its not really a possible exploit, lol..but I get the point

I said libTTF(True Type Font), since True Type fonts can be converted and used for use with the Font Exploit
