Post by veselaki »

Hi guyz! Im fully new in ps2 development and programing, im doing 3d animation. My question is: Is there way how can i extract or decompile ps2 files? Ill tell you what i exactly need! From "Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance" PS2 game I want to extract character models and all other models, they are stored in *.dat files i think. Maybe there is program whitch is able to do that or with tutorials... Ill be happy to tell me!

It may help to send email to the people who made the game and ask.

Maybe the files should have been done with maya or softimage, anyway try to ask someone working at midway's office :)
with more infos we'll be able to help or provide a way to extract what you want :)

Please keep in mind that any data you extract still belongs to the copyright holder. You can't distribute it on your own.

It is a deadrun anyway, not a single sane company would save the data asis, there are several reasons for this and one of em is to shape the data to fit the machine in question.
