Does ps2link need ps2smap?

I have been looking for ps2smap and I can't find it anywhere. It is named in the ps2link Makefiles. If I remove from the ps2link files it still works.

What is ps2smap?

It's a GPL module into the ps2eth project.

I thought the ps2eth project was merged into the ps2sdk?

Nope. It's a GPL project, and thus, can't enter ps2sdk.
