Playing US FFXI on jap SCPH-10000 PS2

I would like to know if it possible to install US playonline FFXI on PS2 with external BB Unit ?

When I run Playonline setup it "hang" at step 2/3 at online certification.

Some informations :

- Playonline is launch on jap PS2 with swap trick
- Connection to the Internet is OK
- The CD continue to spin on step 2/3
- control via mouse\keyboard\pad is OK (cursor move) at step 2/3 but nothing happen on the screen and buttons seem disable.

Any idea on this issue ?
