I can't get online with Wipeout pure

i followed all the directions to use the psp as a web browser but I still can't get on.
i use the dns code for several different site but everytime I boot up wipeout and go to downloads, it just takes me the the Wipe pure site.
what am i doing wrong can some one please help

These PS2Dev people don't know anything about internenet.

And perhaps mention which DNS IPs you're trying - maybe someone can confirm they work.
