These cards have been around for a while now though they're not very common. They're not official. I would suggest you get a MAX Memory card if they're available by you, the price is better than official cards and I've had very good experiences with them(unlike the old Datel cards that required a bo...

A hash key is produced by doing SHA1 on the function name and keeping the lowest 32 bits. It's used for dynamic linking of libaries.

the logic of this whole thing is simply wrong. Do not try it, at best it will not work and at worst you will corrupt/damage you memory stick. Swapping memory sticks will not work for many reasons which I'm not going to bother explaining. Common and/or a bit of technical sense will reveal any number ...

wonder if "extra1" is "stack" and extra2 is "gp"? perhaps it defaults to a kernel-specified stack area if you specify a NULL pointer for stack.

Library function list

Starting a new thread for people to paste library and function names. I assume that atleast some of you have started such lists, so please post them here. If not, I'll start doing some extractions myself. You don't need to include the SHA1 hash keys.

it's a bug in the ROM FILEIO/XFILEIO drivers. the writer of the modules forgot a "break;" at the end of the case for fioRemove in the RPC server switch, so it continues on to the next case, which happens to be mkdir. So your solution of following any removes with a rmdir is the best thing ...

I fail to see how info on "ROMDIR" FS parsing can further piracy... Go to ps2dev.sf.net and go to the downloads section, there're 2 applications there which can extract files from an IMG.

If anyone can explain to me how such information will lead to warez, please enlighten me. :)

Your FS "init" function getting called twice is due to craziness in the design of IOMANX. I gave t0mb0la a fix for this, but I guess it never made it into the CVS.. Basically what happens is that IOMANX calls the init function then passes control to normal IOMAN which ALSO calls the init f...

Doing something like a syscall logger wouldn't be difficult on it's own, but the printf might be problematic. Simply adding your own syscall exception handler to the exception table would work for the actual syscall logging, but you'll need a way to keep your printf() stuff working. That's not a pro...
