KttenAuth was suggested to me by someone on the forums. You can find it at:

This reduced the SPAM dramatically. We still get a few SPAMs but a lot less than we used to.

I don't like to feed the trolls, but in regards to the question about why was the note changed on the home page. It was changed twice. First time to add a link link to a forum topic on the subject, and a second time to fix up some bad characters that were cut and pasted into the note. One of the ver...

This is becoming the preferred way of advertising for people who know places like ours don't like spam. Most of the time I delete on sight.. email the person asking them to stop, or if I'm feeling nice or apathetic, just leave them to someone else to delete. There's someone else that just does reall...

Does Firmware 2.10 remove access to RSX?
On a few threads people are discussing if firmware 2.10 removes access to RSX? Can a few people confirm if this is the case? Would be good to know how you confirmed it too?
thanks,
David.

Yep. I do own the server. The main site is run on tomcat and the last month or so there's a problem which is causing it to stop working once in a while. I've put a cron job to check if the number of open sessions raises too high. If it does I reset tomcat. At some stage I'll work out what is causing...

Sounds like a good project. If you would like to host the code at the subversion repository here (svn.ps2dev.org), then please send me a private message with the userid/password you would like and I will create an account for you. The same goes for anyone else with project ideas for the ps3. The ver...

By my calculations about 50% of the current members of the forums here were created for SPAM purposes. I'm not sure if the post count ...

I am very open to the idea of splitting off ps3dev.org but also agree that a lot of people already know about ps2dev.org. Keeping it all in the same place has a lot of advantages in regard to management of the site, etc. One of the big advantages in my mind of splitting of ps3dev.org is that develop...
