The tutorial you ask for will get you as far as the tutorial goes. You need alot more base knowledge, and when you have that, you won't need a tutorial. This forum is all you need, as long you know how to use it.

This is an exploit topic on a PS2/PSP dev forum, who said that people should help out with the understanding of BOF?

Pikoro, the search function is there for a reason. It's like someone asking you on your forum what a PSP is, or stating that the PSP is something else.

I have no real insight in Team Xecutor, but I highly doubt they have access to a legit SDK. Even if they do, in some weird way, I don't think they will use it for any legal project. Would have been nice if someone from Team Xectuor could replay here, or join #pspdev / #ps2dev on freenode. Gorim gave...

The General Forum is open for things like this.

Would also be better to post the source from where the emulator was first released, psphacker.com is a fansite and I'm yet to see any release from them.

The pic on psp-hacks.com is from ooPo's original phototake. As ooPo had to shut his site down due to heavy traffic, I don't think he mind. However, I don't like psp-hacks.com/psp-hacks.net and every other fan site posting missleading news. About that elf2pbp and pbpunpacker, thouse two apps has noth...

cyod, don't expect anyone to post an ELF, compiled with the SDK, public. It won't happen, so stop asking for proof/elf/whatever.

I tried VerifySetup.elf (got nothing better :/) and got black display. yay... You'll get blackscreen, while dimming / brightness is working. This is most likely becouse VerifySetup.elf is a debug build (printf() is one function used for dbg). This thread is getting no where, it's no use to keep ask...

I'm sorry, but as we don't know for sure yet, this is the only thing you'll get. Alot of things can be the cause of this. All I'm saying is that malloc isen't totally wrong, but it could very well be that he noticed the difference between 1.0 and 1.5 and just assumed that it runs code. (Sorry malloc...

There is a difference between the 1.5 and 1.0 when running a specific elf file, that much is for sure. There is no point in discussing this further yet, but malloc can very well be right. Don't put your hopes up to much tho!

First, don't talk about the SDK here, it's not legit. Second, when did we not have a cross compiler for mips r4k? The problem here has nothing to do with the API. The PSP will not run code that isen't encrypted and digital signed. This has been posted before, so I think you should search the forum f...

I see no reason why Wipeout should know these filetypes, but as the transfer is probebly done through an API function, it could however be the case. Can you try with more random files ooPo, or did you already try that? I just borrowed Wipeout earlier to day, so I can't test it. I will however get it...

Everything that is inside the law should be OK I guess. As for warez, we all know how far from that we are (and hopefully will be untill the end :-)).
