If I'm not mistaken, this chip is built-in inside the IOP, so, it won't help opening the PS2 anyway.

Well, you have to find a way to run CD-Rs on your console. The PS2 makes no differences between a homebrew software and a game: a non sony-authorized CD just won't boot straight.

Believe me, I did NOT switch to Cygwin because I like it, but I got tired of being able to handle only half of the projects I tried, using the old tools. Though I'm still not fond of Cygwin itself, I must say that it has proven far more useful for PS2DEV work than the other Win32 solutions I've see...

SVN mess up ?

Well, I'm not yet a SVN wiz', and I can't get why usb_mass's directory seems to be considered as "binary": http://svn.ps2dev.org/listing.php?repname=ps2&path=%2Ftrunk%2Fusb_mass%2Fee%2F&rev=0&sc=0 try to click on any .c file, and it'll download it as an octet/stream. Then, go t...

Something's wrong with your toolchain then. Look if the libgcc.a file is in the toolchain directory. If yes, the toolchain is misplaced, and you need a -L on the command line to specify the path to libgcc.a. If no, your toolchain is fucked up and there's nothing I can do about it.

First, you posted it in the wrong forum. Second, your post was way too clobbered with error messages. Third: I am using codewarrior IDE We do not support codewarrior's softwares. firefox ? :) What the hell are you doing with that for ps2dev ? :P

Anyway, for hosting, I can't help either, but, why not using for once that famous bittorrent protocol in a legal way ? If we can't host 300MB straight, we can at least host some bittorrent trackers.

The whole toolchain works with plain mingw/msys mind you, which is way lighter than cygwin. But as slow.

Re: Live Linux PS2dev disc

Oh one other thing, where did the ps2sdk go. I looked in the cvs and I couldn't find it. http://svn.ps2dev.org/listing.php?repname=ps2&path=%2Ftrunk%2Fps2sdk%2F&rev=0&sc=0 Also when I run the toolchain script it fails because it can't check out the ps2sdk from the cvs. Somebody should i...
