Re: PSP port from 0.73

Out of curiosity , I have done a superficial port of PSP dosbox from ver 0.73. ... Hey! Sounds nice ... I'd give it a shot, but I am by far not experienced enough to compile this stuff ... could u just upload ur eboot? I'd try it and compare the results with games that run on the latest version of ...

CrazyC has been silent for close to a month now, I think this software is in danger of becomming vapourware.... read what he's said about the project all the time ... simply READ ... he's most of the time busy with his life and work ... so it takes time ... he won't abandon this, I think. But it's ...

Thanks for answering Wally4000! But wouldn't that take away the possibility of overwriting config/save files of the game? I won't be able to save the game that way! (I think). Thats a good point, I have not investigated in that yet. Okay, since it is about 3 o'clock in the morning and I still don't...

The problem here is the same one as in Basilisk II - you need raw sockets so you can emulate an ethernet adapter, but no one has been able to determine if and how to get raw sockets on the PSP. Dosbox doesn't attempt to interoperate with real ipx networks so the ipx frames are tunneled in udp packe...

I have a couple of questions: Will DOSBox have any internet support? Is it possible to load any files from the windows image And can dosbox load other OS images (linux, unix, etc)? Last, how much of ram does D.Box use to load programs, image, etc? Wally is right I suppose: 1. No, dosbox won't have ...

But what can we expect in the next release? Maybe speed improvement? xD or an OSK? What are you doing right now?

Uh... Vista can only be considered "functional" if you have a 2.5 GHz Core2Duo or better CPU with 2GB or better RAM and a 9000 series nVidia card. Personally, I don't call that functional at all. Than there's a problem there. You are falling for the stereotype that PC's must be expensive....
