I have to go through the sjeep's installer cd-r route too... I did know of the titles.db (I managed to make one :)) but what's the net config file? I couldnt find *any* info on it in the readme (and 0xd6.org is down) Sorry, I was just rattling stuff off from memory. I should have been more specific...

If you have your PS2 connected to a regular TV (i.e., not a computer monitor), the text will be almost illegible anyhow (unless it uses a really large font to render the text.) I was able to get the independence exploit working using sjeep's installer... can't find the URL right now, but IIRC it was on mrbrown's site. Tweak the files as needed: title.db to add your PS1 title to the list, and edit the net config file to reflect your local network settings. Again, Marcus's s...
