Since I began my 2d shooter Insane, I have been using basic Timer based animations. example below lumo tells me that frame based is betterand far easier. Which should I use! and how do I use frame based? I believe the animation plays at the same speed no matter what the frame rate while using timer ...

I am not exactly sure what your asking besides how to loop a wav file.

you can find .mod... files at http://www.modarchive.com/
check luaplayer.org functions list for music loops.

I believe it will compile if I have all of the *.o files pre installed
in the src folder.

Cant Compile standalone

I have an up to date toolchain installed all of the necessarry file, I followed all of the instructions, and I still cant compile a standalone luaplayer.
I always get something like
error graphics.o
any suggestions?
I also get alot of syntax warnings from graphics.c
I have not changed those files

Gah my name was supposed to be tshock not thsock anyway, here is my lua program "shell" complete with bg music, txt reader, png viewe,r xm/mod player, and usb connection. consider it a beta version. It was tested on my psp w/o problems, but i am not responsible for any damages to your psps...
