Mixing C++ and Lua

Although there is some discussion reguarding this in the sticky, it is unclear to me if there is some way to call Lua functions from C or vice versa. Thanks in advance for help if I have missed something that is obvoius.

Are you asking about sockets in general or specifically for PSP? If you are asking about sockets in general then this is probably not the right forum for this question, if you are asking about specifically about the PSP then search for the WiFi sample released by Psppet. It is actually quite complic...

You would need to set a check to see if its above a certain value and choose a new rand() until its below the value... so like rand() newRand (rand%2) 0 0 1 1 2 0 3 1 4 -choose a new random- Thats the only thing I can think of when your rand() gives results in that ma...

It is true that it is baised such that the original random function generates a number on a range such that the highest number does not divide evenly. This is somewhat negligable when the random number function has extremely large intervals and is acceptable for the average program. Edit: This can b...

You can't write anything serious in java (like an ftp search engine....). I think Javascript has no inherient way to open network connections using only javascript... Someone did write a simple tetris game using javascript but it didn't run very well.

I installed the psp toolchain and sdk as per the tutorial on another website (I dont have a link handy but theres really only one). Everything is installed and the sdktest compiles fine but the sample under utility/netconf gives errors about sceCtrlData, PSP_CTRL_SELECT and PSP_CTRL_CROSS being unde...

You need to go to network settings (outside the program) and set IP settings to manual instead of automatic and manually put in an IP and the Router IP. If you aren't technical enough to figure out the right IPs then I don't really know why you are on ps2dev, but you are pretty much out of luck unti...

How does the PSP keyboard work if it cannot work as a host device?

Someone really needs to get a keyboard and rig up some monitoring device to determine how its working exactly before you can make such claims about the psp being unable to act as a host.

Actually I believe that it was revealed that the standard binaries made for psp (.prx i believe?) will only run encrypted, whereas version 1.00 allowed static .elf binaries run unencrypted. Apperently they realized this and fixed it before anyone else realized it with the 1.50 firmware.

I assume it would work in a similar fashon to the XBOX save game exploit. This would be more effective if you could decrypt existing save files using the api, otherwise you will have to create a save file from scratch which would be harder to create a buffer overflow for assuming there is any checks for valid data... This is all assuming that the encryption is not differe...
