It works because of the assignment order. It won't loop forever, but it is sloppy. i = i++; assigns, then increments. To compile on Linux:
-Comment out stdafx.h
-Change i = i++ to i++. Otherwise it will loop forever.

I had to modify the code to get it to work so it wont loop forever..
