I donwloaded the new Update 5.03 for me psp and how does my psp recognize this new update and updates itself?

i have two psp both have the version 3.51 and I don't know how i shall downgrade them.
Can you pls send me links or information how to do it.
i tired it already with the Magic Memory Stick but it doesn't work.
