or am i REALLY that inexperienced with all this.

really, theres no way around the whole, "not free" thing? i have an operating system that i am not currently using. (one i can burn onto a disc) but thats as far as I've gotten, is there any "special" things that i must do, before i can just plop the disc into my ps2 and boot it ...

i don't want to "build" or do anything like that, i would just like to be able to run linux, mac, or windows, with a possible internet connection.
