this lowered the threshold for me immensely. Same here too..... installed a few linux distros already... fc7 was running well but now crawls, so not gotten round to installling the ibm sdk. If someone ever comes a cross a SDK 3.0 one... I assume you can just unistall SDK2.x, then follow the install...
