Well, IMO it's better than it sounds. It's like having a cocktail table in your pocket!

I know, Pong is admittedly a bit of a n00bish topic for a game, but it's simple and more than anything gave me a goal to connect all my doodlings together for, as such it only took a day to write, hopefully its polished enough.
If anyone has any feedback I'd like to know, particularly re non 1.0 PSPs, as I've not got an upgraded one to test on.

Exciting Features:

:: 2 Players on one PSP
:: Twiddly bits: Points / Balls Spin / Ball Acceleration / Player Speed
:: Futuristic AI (for "futuristic", read "basic":))
:: Attract mode
:: 1-Bit Colour
:: ROCK STEADY Framerate @ 600 FPS. ish.
:: Silent operation (ie. I've not done the SFX yet)
:: Argument causing menu system for social gaming.
:: (I think I'm running out of exciting features to tell you about...)
:: Screenshot capability!
:: Erm, I think that's it.

Download it here

Cheers, I figured that simple games have a faster turnaround and let me create interesting demos as I'm learning, so I've got a few simple games planned for, what will end up as the "2 Day Cocktail Compilation", so all the games I release in the next wile will involve <2 days coding time. Next up is a 2 player take on missile command which I'll probably get out this evening, not sure how it's going to work out, but it *should* be fun:)

I still can't get it to download either. :( I think it has something to do with that plus character...

If you want, you could email me the file ( jake@qj.net ) and I'd be happy to mirror it and post about it at PSPUpdates. :)

Really nice, simple program. Takes me back when I was a little boy playing Pong on my Atari. Okay, that's not true, but this is one fun little game, especially when playing with someone else.

Is this game going to updated to add sound and have bloops and bleeps? That would make it perfect.
