Here's my version of PMP Mod 2.0 merged with the previous modifications, except brightness control. I hope I got it right. Enjoy!

That´s cool but why no brightness control ? That´s the only reason many use it...

1000 THANKS magiK! Works perfectly!

Superb! - PMP just got a whole lot better!

EDIT: I have a friend who is running JPN 1.5 firmware - he reports that this is not working and only shows up with a blank blue skin on boot......any ideas anyone????

That happens to me SOMETIMES. When it does, I just reload the program.

I think it's been discussed before though. Perhaps you should check the official thread by johnny.

'select' is now for multiple soundtracks

Use O for zoom options.

All the best

Guys does that version even work?Cause not only does it display some weird res and fps like 202x1001 and 1.01 fps but it doesn't play any pmp showing the pmp x lib error which i didn't get on the 1.02,with the same files.

EDIT:Sorry i checked jonny's homepage and i realised this is a v2 release.

Hi Guys, Been a while since i looked in here but my god you have all been busy. This is fast becoming one of the best psp apps around.

I hate to make requests but i feel i must as i feel so close to having the perfect media player and was wondering if the optixx network code could be implamented into this release?
If so i beleive we will be on the way to an almost perfect mod. (ideally a perfect example of the streaming avi code with out the stuttering etc would be ideal) but streaming pmp's is just as good for the time being and is a godsend ofr me.
The optixx code streams wothout any jumping what so ever for me. This includes 2 and 3 hr movies of around 1500kbps 128kbs audio. Fantastic as otherwise they would not fit on my memory card.

Tanks again

Updated Version

Post by JasonV »

Hey guys, I put together a build of PMP mod with some enhancements to the interface. Here's what it looks like: http://members.shaw.ca/psp_brew/.

I've integrated the pmp v2.00 player into Raphael's old v1.02 (M4g3) build and added some extras. You can now view and edit the playlist in its own window, view saved position info (with thumbnail!) and you can skip through the playlist during playback.

The only things missing from it right now are the usb support (I really can't find a good reason to have this in PMPmod; it's not like you can sleep the PSP while running this app anyways. So, you must exit sometime--at which point you can change your files on your mem stick), and I haven't put in the luminosity stuff either. But, the image scaling is in, as well as the sound amplifying.

I should have this ready to go sometime this weekend. I just need to clean it up first . :)

There's a couple of links to the source and some binaries on the page that I posted a link to.

They're at the top.

I just tested the (CI) version, it's great, very nice GUI.
However i have the same problem as with any previous small mods release from this thread.
After playing 6-7 PMPs, the next one gives an error saying :
------------------------------------
Error
pmp_file_open: can't open file
Press X
------------------------------------
It has never happened with jonny's official build.
All PMPs I have run perfectly fine otherwise.
Another small bug, for this build only, sometimes next to the volume level where it says x1, x2, x3 or x4, sometimes x146 is written instead!
Later,

Alcahest

is this based on johnny's 1.x or is it based on his 2.x? i.e. will I have to remux my 'old' pmps?

Based on 2.0.

I found another bug on the CI version. Sometimes the sound is extremely loud when the PMP starts. Pressing "O" to toggle x1, x2 etc.. corrects it.
Later,

Alcahest
