No, it was a seller who claimed that to my friend. But he maybe wanted to sell the 512MB he had. Mine works fine. And it is from Sandisk.

1GB DuoStick PRO Duo

I was about to buy one, but they were out everywhere. I bought a 512MB instead for the time being. Now someone claims that the 1GB MemoryStick's don't work with PSP yet. =/

I have one. I do disagree though that 25% of volume is enough. If I sit in the subway and play with my headphones I need 100%. And I always go with full brightness but maybe I have to cut down there. I will gladly help the DEV community but I have no skills whatsoever. I'm very good at computers but...
