I hope 1gb works... 2gb too, for that matter, they'll be cheap enough soon. Sony can always update the firmware via wifi if they need to though ^_^.

If you try to fit a DVD on a memory stick using 768k 30fps and 128kb audio, it will need a 1gb duo card for most movies over 90 minutes. 368k video at 30fps in fine with me, but all the programs make you turn the audio down to 68kb, and I hate that. Nero brings MPEG-4 AVC (Advanced Video Coding)/H.264 to the masses with latest Nero Digitalâ„¢ update That is from Nero's website. Yeah, Nero can re-encode h.264 to DVD, but I don't know if can re-encode stuff in to h.264... There is no free trial, and there's no real way to get the IC2 sofware unles...

Video Encoding
