I've tried using your PMP.ini jocky for video streaming w/o AVC and it still crashes when selecting "Video". Is there a way to test the VLC server on the PC?

Sorry but I still can't get mine to work. I've done everything accordling to the instructions. Uninstalled VLC, installed new one. edit PMP.ini, forward ports, you name it. I can load the PSP client and connect to network (assign IP), but everytime I click on Video/Music, my PSP freezes. What could ...

Having wmv support in 1.0.0 now is also a great plus. Keep that up :)

I agree, it's the most simple yet efficient PMP converter out there. :)

Quick question, if the original fullsize video's bitrate is 1100kbps, will anything above 1100kbps when I convert to AVC be a waste?

how can i convert an xvid movie .avi file into a .264 file? when i try to convert with x264.exe it says unsupported input format (xvid) Easiest way would be to use XViD4PSP to convert. So far it's buggy and it doesn't output files,so we're on the wait for something to be released. Eh, worked for me...

EDIT: Itaintrite: you miss an important point: muxing the video without the need of reencoding (you can also enjoy more chroma information with an higher resolution) You're right. I did forget about that. Though you'd still have to demux the audio first. How about creating a muxer that will do that...

How will we benefit from such a high-resolution though? It'll just use up more space and the player will have to downsize the video to fit the screen anyway. No?

Outputting directly to 2.00 format? You can already do that by replacing the muxer with the new one. All it need are cropping and VBR audio.

I doubt the official PSX emulator for PSP will let you create an iso of a game you own and play. Sony will probably force you to PAY to download the games to cut down on piracy. I don't want to pay extra for something I already own, would you? :/

This is odd. PSPlayerMT doesn't work with the videos I've tried. Keeps crashing at the "waiting for video to initialize" screen. The only one that worked had trouble while playing. Video slows down to almost a stop :/

Thanks Johnny, 1.02 is working fine for me. Xvid @ 1000kbps (29.97fps), no audio problems. Audio stutter stills occurs which I use 1200kbps or above on 29.97fps. I have also tested 15000kbps Xvid @ 25fps and no audio stutter. This has lead me to believe audio stutter is to do with fps and not bitra...
